About

Mr. Rate It All lets you build a personal rating layer on top of the web.

Select any text on any page, right-click, choose "Rate It!", and give it
1–5 stars with optional notes. Your ratings are saved and displayed as
inline star badges the next time you visit that page — no account required,
  no data sent anywhere.

  ──────────────────────────────────────
  HOW IT WORKS
  ──────────────────────────────────────

  1. Select text on any webpage (a product name, menu item, restaurant,
     article — anything)
  2. Right-click and choose "Rate It!" from the context menu
  3. Pick a star rating (1–5) and add an optional note
  4. Your rating is saved locally and shown as a badge next to that text
every time you return to the page

  ──────────────────────────────────────
  KEY FEATURES
  ──────────────────────────────────────

★ Rate anything — not just products or restaurants, but any selectable
    text on any website
★ Persistent badges — star ratings appear inline on the page automatically
    on every visit
★ Optional notes — add context to any rating so you remember why you rated
    it that way
★ Works everywhere — Amazon, Grubhub, Yelp, news sites, recipe blogs,
    real estate listings, and more
★ No account needed — all data is stored locally in your browser
★ Private by default — your ratings never leave your device

  ──────────────────────────────────────
  EXAMPLE USE CASES
  ──────────────────────────────────────

  • Grubhub / DoorDash / Uber Eats — rate individual menu items as you order
so you remember what was worth reordering
  • Amazon — annotate products you've bought with your own star rating,
    separate from public reviews
  • Recipes — mark dishes you've tried and how they turned out
  • News & research — flag articles or claims you want to remember your
    take on
  • Real estate — rate listings as you browse so you can compare later
  • Job listings — keep track of roles you've evaluated

  ──────────────────────────────────────
WORKS ON SITES THAT BLOCK SELECTION
  ──────────────────────────────────────

Some sites (like Grubhub) prevent normal text selection. Hold Alt/Option
(Mac) or Ctrl (Linux) while dragging to select text anyway — Mr. Rate It
  All handles the rest.

  ──────────────────────────────────────
  PRIVACY
  ──────────────────────────────────────

Mr. Rate It All stores all ratings locally using Chrome's built-in storage.
No data is collected, transmitted, or shared. There is no account, no
  server, and no tracking.
