About

Eraser lets you remove any element on a webpage with a single click — sticky banners, popups, cookie bars, ads-shaped distractions, or anything else in your way.

How it works

Click the Eraser icon (or press Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+E) to open the toolbar.
Turn on Erase mode — hover to highlight, click to remove.
Undo a mistake, or Reset to bring everything back.

Features
• One-click element removal with a live highlight
• Removals remembered per website and re-applied on your next visit
• Undo the last erase, or restore everything on the site
• A draggable toolbar that snaps to any edge or corner (goes vertical on the sides)
• Keyboard shortcuts: E to toggle, Ctrl/Cmd+Z to undo, Esc to exit
• Everything happens locally in your browser. The extension has no servers and collects no data.

Good to know
• Already-open tabs: after installing or updating the extension, refresh any tabs you already had open — the eraser only activates on pages loaded after it's enabled.
• Elements may return: removals are remembered using the element's position/identifiers on the page. If a website changes its layout or code, a saved element may no longer match and can reappear. Just erase it again, or use Reset to clear that site's saved removals.
• Hidden, not deleted: Eraser only hides elements in your own view. It never changes the actual website, and a normal page reload won't expose your data to anyone.
• Restricted pages: browser pages like chrome://, the Chrome Web Store, and the new-tab page don't allow extensions to run, so Eraser won't work there.
