Strong Password & Passphrase Generator helps you create random passwords and readable passphrases directly from your Chrome toolbar.

Open the extension popup, choose your preferred generation mode, adjust the rules, and generate a password or passphrase instantly. You can copy the result with one click, view estimated strength, and reuse recently generated items from local history.

The extension runs locally in your browser and does not require an account.

Password Modes:

Simple:
Quickly generate a password by choosing length and character types.

Advanced:
Create passwords with more control, including exclusions, custom characters, no-repeat mode, and batch generation.

Passphrase:
Generate readable passphrases using multiple words, custom separators, capitalization, optional numbers, and optional symbols.

How to Use:

1. Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar.
2. Choose Simple, Advanced, or Passphrase mode.
3. Adjust the options you want.
4. Click Generate.
5. Copy the generated password or passphrase with the copy button.
6. Use the History tab to view or clear recent locally saved generated items.

Privacy Friendly:

Strong Password & Passphrase Generator runs locally in your browser. Based on the current extension files, it does not collect personal information, does not read website content, does not track browsing activity, and does not send generated passwords to an external server.

Generated password history and settings are stored locally in your browser using Chrome storage. You can clear the saved history from the History tab.
