Extension Doctor helps you review the permissions of the browser extensions you already have installed.

Over time, it is easy to forget which extensions can access all websites, browser tabs, cookies-related capabilities, downloads, history-related capabilities, or other sensitive browser areas. Extension Doctor gives you a local permission checkup so you can understand which extensions deserve a closer look.

What Extension Doctor does:
- Reviews installed extension metadata and permissions locally
- Shows a permission exposure score for each extension
- Explains permissions in plain language
- Highlights broad website access and sensitive capabilities
- Sorts extensions by Low, Moderate, High, and Critical exposure
- Lets you mark trusted extensions as ignored while keeping the raw score visible
- Lets you export a local audit report as JSON or CSV
- Lets you disable an extension only after clear confirmation when Chrome allows it

Important limitation:
Extension Doctor is a permission exposure review tool. It is not a malware scanner and does not guarantee that any extension is safe or unsafe. A high score means the extension has broad or sensitive permissions. A low score means the declared permissions appear limited.
