KasTip — Tip Kaspa on X

About

KasTip is the easiest way to send Kaspa (KAS) cryptocurrency to anyone on X (Twitter) — directly from your X timeline, in one click, without giving up custody
  of your funds.


  WHAT IT DOES

  KasTip adds a "💰 KasTip" button next to every username you see on X. Click it, choose an amount, approve the transaction in your wallet — that's it. Kaspa
  lands in the recipient's wallet within seconds.

  If the recipient doesn't have a KasTip account yet, the extension generates a suggested reply with an invite link. They register (it takes 30 seconds), set
  their Kaspa receiving address, and your future tips reach them directly.


  HOW IT WORKS

  1. Click the extension icon → "Connect X" → sign in with your X account (OAuth 2.0).
  2. Set your Kaspa receiving address (where tips arrive). We validate it on-chain.
  3. Browse X normally. The "💰 KasTip" button appears next to every handle.
  4. Click → enter amount → pick a wallet → approve → done.
  5. Your dashboard at https://kastip.app/dashboard shows every tip you've sent and received.


  NON-CUSTODIAL — WE NEVER HOLD YOUR FUNDS

  Every transaction is signed by your own wallet and broadcast directly to the Kaspa network. KasTip's backend has no access to private keys, seed phrases, or
  your wallet's funds at any point. There are no funds for an attacker to steal from us, because we never have any.


  ZERO SERVICE FEES

  KasTip itself charges nothing in this MVP version. 100% of the tipped amount (minus the standard Kaspa network fee — typically around 0.0001 KAS per
  transaction) goes to the recipient.


  SUPPORTED WALLETS

  Browser extensions (one-click flow, recommended):
  • Kasware
  • Kastle

  Mobile and hardware wallets (QR code fallback — scan and send from your phone):
  • Kaspium
  • Tangem
  • KSPR Bot
  • Any wallet that supports the standard "kaspa:" URI format

  The extension auto-detects which wallets you have installed and offers a picker. If you only have one, the picker is skipped.


  PRIVACY

  We collect the absolute minimum:
  • Your public X profile (numeric ID, handle, display name, avatar URL) — for authentication and display.
  • Your Kaspa receiving address — public information that's needed for tips to find you.
  • Tip records — sender/receiver handles, amount, transaction ID, timestamp.

  We do NOT collect:
  • Tweet content, DMs, follower lists, or any timeline data. X API scope is "users.read" only.
  • Your X password or email.
  • Wallet private keys or seed phrases (technically impossible — see "non-custodial" above).
  • Cross-site tracking cookies or advertising identifiers.

  Hosted in the EU (Germany) under GDPR. You can request account deletion at any time.

  WHAT KASTIP IS NOT

  • Not a wallet. You bring your own (Kasware, Kastle, Kaspium, etc.).
  • Not a custodian. We never hold KAS for anyone.
  • Not affiliated with X Corp, Twitter, the Kaspa Foundation, or any wallet provider.
  • Not a financial service. KasTip is a UX layer over the public Kaspa blockchain — every transaction is on-chain, verifiable, and irreversible.


  REQUIREMENTS

  • A Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave) or Firefox.
  • An X (Twitter) account.
  • A Kaspa wallet — Kasware or Kastle browser extension recommended, but any wallet that handles the "kaspa:" URI works via the QR fallback.
