English Polisher cleans up your writing or drafts it for you — without leaving the page.

POLISH MODE
Paste or select text and choose one:
• Fix — corrects grammar, spelling, and punctuation while keeping your meaning and tone
• Humanize — rewrites stiff, robotic, or AI-sounding text so it reads like a real person
• Shorten — makes it tighter and clearer

ASK MODE
Give a plain instruction like "reply to this email" or "write a short bio," and
optionally paste the email or notes as context. Get a natural, human-sounding draft
you can copy or insert.

IN-PLACE EDITING
Select text in any editable field (Gmail, comment boxes, text areas), then
right-click or press a keyboard shortcut to replace it in place — with undo.

IN-FIELD BUTTON (EXPERIMENTAL, OFF BY DEFAULT)
Optionally enable a small button that appears in the corner of text boxes on the
web. Click it for Fix / Humanize / Shorten and the field is rewritten in place.

FREE TO RUN
• Google Gemini free tier — no credit card required
• Chrome's built-in AI (Gemini Nano) — runs entirely on your device, no key needed
• Also supports Groq, OpenRouter, and Anthropic Claude

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No accounts, no analytics, no backend. Your API key is stored in your browser and
your text is sent only to the AI provider you choose (or nowhere at all with the
on-device model).

You bring an API key from your chosen provider; the extension is free and open source.
