LOCAL AND PRIVATE BY DESIGN

The extension runs in your browser and reads the Instagram profile page you have open. It does not ask for your Instagram password, does not log in on your behalf, and does not send scraped posts to a backend server.

It works on public profiles and profiles your logged-in browser can already view, including private profiles you follow. It does not unlock private accounts, bypass login walls, bypass blocked accounts, or access content Instagram does not render to your browser.

IMAGE DOWNLOADS

Turn on "Download images locally" to save captured post images to organized folders on your computer. Image downloads are best effort because Instagram media URLs can expire or change.

HOW TO USE

1. Open an Instagram profile in Chrome.
2. Click the extension icon.
3. Set max posts, scroll delay, skip count, or continue-from-saved options.
4. Click Start scraping.
5. Export JSON or CSV.
6. Optionally download captured post images locally.

- activeTab: read the Instagram tab you choose to scrape.
- storage: save settings, quota, license state, and the latest scrape locally.
- scripting: inject the scraper into the current Instagram tab when you start a scrape.
- alarms: periodically re-check Pro license state.
- downloads: save captured post images locally when you enable image downloads.
- instagram.com host access: run the scraper on Instagram profile pages.
- Dodo Payments host access: activate and validate Pro licenses.
