  Most communication apps route your calls through their servers, where they can be logged, analyzed, or accessed. Sidecall uses WebRTC peer-to-peer technology — your audio and video go straight to your contact's browser. No middleman. Lower latency. Maximum privacy.
  
  
  🛡️ TURN RELAY (OPTIONAL)
  
  If your network blocks direct P2P connections (corporate firewalls, strict NAT, hotel Wi-Fi), you can subscribe to TURN relay for $5/month. Even with TURN, your calls remain end-to-end encrypted — the relay server cannot decrypt them.

  🛡️ TURN RELAY (FREE FOR EVERYONE)
  For users on restrictive networks (corporate firewalls, strict NAT, hotel Wi-Fi, mobile carriers blocking direct connections), Sidecall provides free TURN relay servers in three regions. Even when routed through TURN, your calls remain end-to-end encrypted — relay servers cannot decrypt them. Enabled by default; you can disable it for pure P2P-only mode in Settings.
