Section Bookmarker

About

*Section Bookmarker* saves your place on any web page, not just the
URL.

*The problem:* Browser bookmarks save page URLs, but not where you
were on the page. If you're reading a long article, documentation,
or research paper, a regular bookmark drops you at the top.

*The solution:* Select any text, right-click, and choose "Bookmark
this section." When you click the bookmark later, it opens the page
and scrolls directly to your saved text, highlighted in yellow using
Chrome's built-in scroll-to-text feature.

*How it works:*
1. Select text on any page
2. Right-click and choose "Bookmark this section"
3. A confirmation toast appears
4. Click the extension icon to see all your bookmarks, grouped by
   site
5. Click any bookmark to jump back to the exact spot

*Features:*
- Works on any webpage

- Uses Chrome's native text fragment highlighting (no page
  modification)
- All data stored locally on your device; nothing is sent anywhere

*Permissions explained:*
- "Read and change all your data on all websites" is needed so the
  extension can extract the text you select on any page and show the
  save confirmation. No page content is modified, read, or
  transmitted beyond what you explicitly select.

*Privacy:* All bookmark data is stored locally using Chrome's
built-in storage. No data is collected, transmitted, or shared with
anyone. No analytics. No tracking. No account required.
