About

Nope adds a one-click "Not interested" button to every video in your YouTube feed. Instead of opening the "⋮" menu and hunting for the right row, you dismiss a video in a single click — Nope drives YouTube's own native "Not interested" action for you.

The button sits in the corner of each thumbnail on your Home, Subscriptions, and channel "Videos" feeds. Click it and the video is gone, using the exact same signal YouTube already understands — so your recommendations keep getting better, just with far less clicking.

  WHAT YOU GET

  • One-click dismiss — a clean X button on every feed video. No menu, no two-step flow. • Optional keyboard shortcut — hover a video and press your chosen combo to dismiss it without reaching for the button. Set it in the popup.
  • Optional "Suppress channel" button — stop a whole channel's recommendations in one place. It's off by default and asks you to confirm before firing, because it's hard to undo.
  • Works in any language — Nope targets YouTube's menu by its icons, not English text, so it works on non-English YouTube too.
  • Clear feedback — if something goes wrong, the button flashes instead of silently doing nothing.
  • Simple on/off — flip the whole extension on or off from the toolbar popup any time.

  PRIVACY

Nope asks for one permission: storage, used only to save your own settings (on/off, shortcut, suppress-channel toggle). It does NOT request access to your history, tabs, or browsing activity, and it collects, sends, and sells nothing. Everything happens locally in your browser, on YouTube pages only.

Nope doesn't replace YouTube's controls — it just puts the one you already use a click away.
