Upwork shows you a client's hire rate only after you've opened the job. Octo remembers so you don't get burned twice: it flags clients who post and post but never hire, before you spend connects on them.

Warnings on job tiles for clients with low hire rates, based on data your own browsing and the community already saw. Keyword blocklist to hide jobs you never want to see. A true minimum-rate filter, because "$5-$25/hr" is not a $25 job. Every job you open is remembered and marked in future searches.

Octo never contacts Upwork on your behalf. It only reads what Upwork already displayed on your screen. It reorganizes the information your browser already rendered for you, the same way an ad blocker or password manager works. Nothing to detect, nothing to abuse.
