About

The PasteKitLab Extension provides an intuitive interface for automating operations on clipboard content. It can detect the type of data and apply the necessary transformations or operations to simplify your workflow. With a minimalistic popup UI, this extension gives you quick access to a variety of powerful tools for developers, network engineers, and security professionals.

Key Features:

Content Input and Auto-Recognition: The extension provides a content input box in the popup and automatically detects the content type, offering relevant tools for each detected type (e.g., encoding/decoding, JSON handling, encryption/decryption).

Cron Expression Handling: Users can enter a cron expression, and the extension will display the next 5 execution times based on that expression.

DNS Resolution: When content contains a domain name, the extension will query an external API to resolve DNS records like A, CNAME, and AAAA.

Encoding & Decoding: The extension offers multiple encoding and decoding methods, such as Base64, URL encoding, Hex, Unicode, ASCII, and UTF-8. It automatically detects encoded content and decodes it or encodes plain data based on user selection.

JSON Formatter: Automatically detects JSON and JSON arrays, providing features for pretty-printing and compression. It will also report errors with context, showing the surrounding characters for easy debugging.

IP Parsing: When the content is recognized as an IP address or subnet, the extension will resolve additional information using an external API. It also handles IP subnet calculations and provides details about the network.

Timestamp Converter: Automatically detects timestamps or date strings, allowing users to convert between string representations and Unix timestamps. The current date and timestamp are displayed in the UI.

Encryption/Decryption: Users can configure encryption keys (AES, RSA, SM) in the settings, and the extension will attempt to decrypt content. If successful, it will display the decrypted data. Advanced encryption settings are available in the options page.

Mock Configuration: Users can configure mock data that matches encryption protocols. When a mock configuration matches the content, the extension will automatically convert it to encrypted data and return the mock encrypted response.

Network Request Monitoring: The extension captures network requests and responses, parsing them according to recognized protocols. Plaintext requests and responses are displayed directly in the network panel.

Usage Instructions:

Popup Interface: Click on the extension icon to open the popup window. Paste any content into the input box, and the extension will automatically detect the content type and provide relevant options.

Options Page: Configure encryption keys and advanced settings on the options page to customize your experience.

Keyboard Shortcut: Press Ctrl+Shift+E to quickly open the popup window.

Permissions:
This extension requires access to your clipboard data, network requests, and certain external APIs to perform domain resolution and IP lookups. We do not store any of your personal data.

Privacy:
The extension processes data locally on your machine and does not send any private data to third-party servers unless required for DNS resolution, IP lookups, or similar operations. Your clipboard data is not logged or stored by the extension.
