Privacy & Data

Jalre does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on any server.

All timer data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage on your own computer. This data never leaves your device.

When you save a worklog, Jalre makes a direct API call from your browser to your own Jira instance — the same request your browser would make if you logged work manually. There is no intermediary server, no backend, and no analytics.

Your Jira session cookie is used automatically by the browser to authenticate these requests, exactly as it does for every other action you perform on Jira. Jalre never reads, copies, or transmits your credentials.

The only domains Jalre can access are *.atlassian.net — your own Jira workspace. No data is sent anywhere else.

Everything stays between your browser and your Jira. Jalre is just the button.
