About

Are you a chronic tab hoarder? Does Google Chrome consume your system memory like an all-you-can-eat buffet?

Say hello to Keep Tabs On Me, the extension that literally keeps tabs on your tabs!

Keep Tabs On Me keeps your browser light, fast, and responsive by automatically maintaining a strict, customizable tab limit per window.

Features:
- Tab Queueing: Set your tab limit (e.g., 30 tabs). When you open tab number 31, the leftmost (oldest) tab in that window is gently "pushed off the end" and closed.
- Closed Tab Stack: Closed tabs aren't gone forever! Non blank tabs are pushed onto a disk-backed stack so you can restore them whenever you need.
- Smart Autocomplete: When you manually close an active tab and your count drops below the limit, Keep Tabs On Me pops the most recently queued tab right back into the leftmost slot of your window.
- Time-Based Expiration: Outdated tabs in the stack automatically expire and clean themselves up after a configurable number of days (e.g., 30 days).

Configurable Options:
- Custom Tab Limits: Tailor tab count boundaries for each window.
- Stack Duration: Set an expiration timeframe (e.g., 1 month) to discard ancient tabs.
-Granular Controls: Toggle the Tab Stack or Auto-Restore on/off independently. (Disabling the stack automatically turns off the restore feature).
- Manual Sweep: Display a breakdown of current tab counts vs. limit, with a single button to batch-close all excess tabs as if they were pushed off.
- One Click Clear: Wipe your stack history clean at any time.
- Individual Stack Deletions: Click the trash can icon next to any closed tab in the stack to delete it without restoring it.
