Yuril Privacy Shield blocks the trackers that follow you around the web and makes your browser far harder to fingerprint — quietly, with no account and nothing phoning home.
It does two things, and does them well:
▶ TRACKER BLOCKING
Two rule sets work together to drop tracking requests before they ever leave your browser: a curated list of known trackers, plus a Manifest V3 conversion of the widely used EasyPrivacy filter list. Blocking runs on the browser's own declarativeNetRequest engine, so it's fast and the extension never sees your browsing.
▶ FINGERPRINTING RESISTANCE
Sites identify you not just with cookies but by the tiny, unique quirks of your device — how it draws to a canvas, renders audio, reports its fonts and its WebGL details. Yuril Privacy Shield gently perturbs those readings so they stay unstable from visit to visit, breaking the "stable fingerprint" that trackers rely on. It's tuned not to break the sites you use every day.
▶ TWO LEVELS, YOUR CHOICE
• Balanced (default): invisible, strong protection, tuned to leave everyday sites working.
• Maximum: turns the aggression up for people who'd rather fix the rare broken page than leak anything they don't have to.
▶ PER-SITE CONTROL
One click in the toolbar popup turns protection on or off for the site you're on, and your choice is remembered across browser restarts. When a site genuinely needs the real you, the allowlist keys on the actual registered domain — so trusting one site never silently covers a hundred subdomains you didn't mean to.
▶ PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything runs on your machine. No account, no sign-in, no servers to trust:
• No telemetry.
• No analytics.
• No network calls of its own.
• No data collection of any kind.
Yuril Privacy Shield is free, built entirely on Manifest V3, and works across Chrome and other Chromium browsers. It's young software from a small security team that would rather tell you exactly how the inside works than make claims it can't back up.
