About
DeepWork helps you stay focused by blocking distracting websites during dedicated focus sessions. Start a DeepWork session from the extension or the DeepWork mobile app, and your focus session automatically syncs across devices. When a session is active, websites on your block list are redirected to a focus screen, helping you stay accountable and reduce distractions. Key Features • Block distracting websites during focus sessions • Create customizable block lists • Start sessions from Chrome or the DeepWork mobile app • Cross-device session synchronization • Visual session timer and progress tracking • Productivity insights and session history • Session completion notifications • Google Sign-In for secure account access How It Works 1. Sign in with your Google account 2. Choose which websites you want to block 3. Start a focus session 4. DeepWork automatically blocks selected websites until the session ends Permissions Explained • "Read and change your data on websites" (<all_urls>) is required so DeepWork can block websites that you choose to add to your block list. The extension does not collect, read, or transmit page content. • Declarative Net Request is used only to redirect blocked websites to DeepWork's focus screen during active sessions. • Identity permission is used for Google Sign-In and cross-device synchronization between the extension and the DeepWork mobile app. • Storage permission is used to save settings, block lists, and session information locally. • Notifications permission is used to notify you when focus sessions are completed. Privacy DeepWork does not sell your personal information. User data is used solely to provide focus sessions, account synchronization, and productivity insights.
