About

Pomodoro Timer – Stay Focused turns every new tab into a clean
focus dashboard. Plan your day in tasks, write Notion-style notes,
and work in 25-minute sprints with built-in breaks.

Built for people who want a calmer Chrome and a sharper focus.
100% offline. No account, no tracking, no network calls.

WHAT YOU GET

• A clean Pomodoro timer that takes over your new tab — no more
empty Google homepage staring back at you.
• Toolbar popup and Chrome side panel show the same timer, so
it's accessible from any page or pinned to the side of the
  browser while you work.
• Optional floating timer overlay on web pages — draggable to
any corner, dismissable, off by default. Great when you're
deep in a doc or PR review.
• Tasks list with full pomodoro history per task: every
completed session is logged with date, time, and duration.
• Notion-style block editor on every task. Slash command, markdown
shortcuts, headings, bullets, numbered lists, to-dos, quotes,
code blocks, links, and inline B/I/U formatting.
• Auto-cycling: focus → short break → focus → ... → long break
every 4 sessions (configurable). Auto-start the next phase if
  you prefer a hands-off flow.
• Live MM countdown on the toolbar badge, color-coded by phase.
Hover for an exact MM:SS readout plus the active task.
• Desktop notifications and a soft chime when a session ends.
• Daily stats — pomodoros completed and total focus time.
• Curated rotating motivational quote on every new tab.

KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS (new tab page)

• Space — start / pause
• R — reset the current phase
• S — skip to the next phase

In notes:
• Cmd/Ctrl + B / I / U — bold, italic, underline
• Cmd/Ctrl + K — insert link
• "/" — open the block menu
• Markdown at line start: # heading, - bullet, 1. numbered,
[] todo, > quote, three backticks for code

PRIVACY

PERMISSIONS

• storage — saves tasks, notes, settings, and timer state on
  your device.
• alarms — fires the end-of-session event reliably even if
you close the tab or quit Chrome.
• notifications — desktop alert when a session ends.
• sidePanel — lets you pin the timer to Chrome's side panel.
• content scripts on all pages — only used to render the
optional floating timer. Off by default; toggle in Settings.
