About

RAW photos straight from your camera cannot be opened in a browser, shown to a client, or uploaded to a stock library. This extension converts them to JPG, PNG, WebP or TIFF — directly in your browser, without sending a single byte to a server.

100% LOCAL, 100% PRIVATE
Every file is decoded and encoded on your own machine with WebAssembly. The extension has zero network permissions, zero tracking and zero analytics. Your wedding shoots, product photos and personal archives never leave your device. It works offline after install, with no monthly limits and no sign-up.

WHICH RAW FORMATS ARE SUPPORTED
The extension covers every major camera maker. Canon shooters can convert CR2 and CR3 files from any DSLR or mirrorless body, including older CRW captures. Nikon photographers get full NEF and NRW support. Sony users can process ARW, SR2 and SRF files from Alpha and legacy bodies. Fujifilm RAF is decoded natively, as is Adobe DNG — the universal digital-negative format used by Pentax, Leica and many other cameras.

Olympus and OM System ORF, Panasonic RW2, Pentax PEF and Sigma X3F are all supported, along with every other format the libraw decoder handles.

As bonus inputs, standard TIFF files and HEIC/HEIF photos from iPhone and iPad can also be loaded — one converter handles the entire shoot.

FOUR OUTPUT FORMATS
Choose JPG for clients, email delivery and stock portfolios. Use PNG when you need lossless quality or transparency. Export WebP for modern, lightweight web images. Save TIFF for print production and long-term archives. A quality slider for JPG and WebP lets you balance file size against fidelity.

BATCH UP TO 200 FILES
Drop an entire shoot folder onto the side panel, press one button, and download a single ZIP when processing is finished. There is a progress bar for every file, per-file error recovery if one frame is corrupt, and a layout built for high-volume work rather than one-photo-at-a-time pages.

FULL CONTROL OVER EXIF AND GPS
Keep every piece of metadata — camera model, lens, ISO, shutter speed, copyright — or strip it entirely for a clean delivery. A separate option removes only GPS coordinates, so real-estate, stock and editorial clients never see where a shot was taken while the rest of the EXIF stays intact.

USEFUL EXTRAS
Resize output for web, email or stock-agency requirements. Rename files using a flexible template with date, sequence counter, original name and extension. Apply a single watermark across the whole batch in one pass. Preview thumbnails appear for every file before export.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Click the extension icon — the side panel opens.
2. Drag RAW files or a whole folder onto it.
3. Pick output format, quality, resize, EXIF option and an optional watermark.
4. Press Convert, then download files individually or as a ZIP.

WHY LOCAL CONVERSION MATTERS
Most web converters upload your files to a remote server. For wedding, commercial, medical and editorial work, that uploaded copy is a privacy risk that never fully goes away. This extension runs the entire pipeline — libraw decoder, image processor, format encoder — inside your browser using WebAssembly. Nothing is transmitted, nothing is stored on someone else's hardware. The manifest requests only storage and the side panel; no host permissions, no content-script access, no outbound traffic. The source is open — audit it yourself.

OFFLINE FIRST
After the initial install the extension keeps working with no internet connection. Pull the SD card on a train, at a remote shoot, or on a locked-down studio workstation — conversion still runs. No account, no license check, no watermark on output unless you add one yourself.
