Calendar Emoji Auto-Tagger reads your event titles and adds a matching emoji. Automatically, and entirely inside your browser.

💡 WHY I BUILT THIS

I noticed that putting an emoji in front of an event title made my calendar way more fun, and way easier to scan at a glance. The week stopped looking like a wall of text and started looking like a visual map of my life.

But picking the right emoji for every single event got tedious fast. So I made it automatic.

And for the words the built-in rules don't catch (a project codename, a person's name, an inside joke), you can add your own custom emoji + keyword pairs and they apply instantly.

The result is a calendar that's productive AND a little bit playful. Try it for a week and you won't want to go back.

Right now the extension recognizes English and Korean event titles. Support for Japanese, Spanish, and other languages is being added based on what users ask for. If your language isn't supported yet, you can still add your own custom rules to use it however you want.

⚡ Automatic, no extra clicks
When you press Enter, click Save, or move on to the next field, the emoji is added automatically.

🎲 Different emoji each time
Each keyword maps to several emojis, so the same keyword can show up as 🤝, 🗓️, 👔, or 📍 on different days. Keeps your calendar from looking repetitive.

Everything runs inside your browser. Your calendar content is never sent anywhere.

✏️ Add your own custom rules
Don't see the keyword you want in the built-in list? Add your own. Define any [emoji + keyword] combination for the things you care about: project names, nicknames, inside references, anything.

And if you want a custom keyword to randomize too, just add it again with a different emoji. The next time it triggers, it picks from all the emojis you assigned to that word, just like the built-in rules.

🧘 Already added an emoji? It stays.
If a title already starts with an emoji you picked yourself, the extension leaves it alone.
