SocialGravity builds a digital twin of you, a conversational AI that talks like you, knows what you know, and reflects your taste. The hardest part of building a good twin isn't getting it to talk; it's giving it real behavioral signal about who you are.

This extension is the fastest way to feed that signal in. It reads your own Instagram activity, the accounts you like, the posts you save, the people you tag, the captions on your own posts, the things you repost, and sends an aggregate to your SocialGravity twin.

The twin uses that signal to:
- Pre-load your interests instead of discovering them conversationally
- Match your aesthetic and humor when it talks to people who visit your twin
- Spot the actual clusters in your taste, not the curated ones you put on a CV

HOW IT WORKS
1. Install the extension. Sign in to socialgravity.ai in one tab. Make sure you are signed in to Instagram in another tab.
2. Click the extension icon, then "Sync now."
3. The extension reads your own Instagram likes, saves, tagged posts, own posts, and reposts directly from Instagram's mobile API, using the session you already have.
4. The aggregate is sent to your SocialGravity twin. You see the captured counts in your dashboard.
5. Your twin's prompt now includes a behavioral paragraph derived from this signal. Re-sync any time to refresh.

WHAT THIS IS NOT
- It is not an Instagram bot. The extension does not like, follow, comment, DM, or do anything on your behalf on Instagram. Zero write operations.
- It is not for scraping other accounts. It only reads the authenticated user's own activity.
- It is not a data broker. We do not sell your data. We do not ship it to third parties.

PRIVACY IN PLAIN LANGUAGE
The extension reads your Instagram activity and your SocialGravity authentication token, sends an aggregated summary to api.socialgravity.ai, and stores it inside your own twin record. Aggregates and a short LLM-generated behavioral paragraph are kept. Raw posts are not retained.

You can delete the captured data at any time by editing or deleting your twin, or by emailing [email protected]. Uninstalling the extension stops all further capture.

- A SocialGravity account at socialgravity.ai with at least one twin already built.
- An Instagram account that you own and are signed in to in the same browser.
- Chrome 120 or later.
