About

VaultOTP is a browser-based two-factor authentication (2FA) code manager. It generates one-time verification codes such as TOTP and HOTP directly in your browser, helping you sign in to websites and services without constantly switching to a separate
  authenticator app.

You should install VaultOTP if you manage multiple 2FA-protected accounts and want faster access to your verification codes while working in the browser. It is useful for developers, administrators, team members, and anyone who frequently signs in to
cloud services, dashboards, developer tools, or personal accounts.

  Why install VaultOTP:

  - Generate 2FA verification codes directly in your browser.
  - Quickly copy or autofill codes during sign-in.
  - Add accounts by scanning QR codes or entering secrets manually.
  - Import, export, and back up your accounts.
  - Use optional local encryption to help protect stored account secrets.
  - Use browser storage sync in your own browser environment.
  - Open-source and transparent.

VaultOTP is independently maintained. It is based on Authenticator-Extension/Authenticator, an MIT-licensed open-source project, and is published under its own name and identity.
