About

NoMusic helps reduce background music in browser tabs.

When enabled for the active tab, NoMusic analyzes tab audio locally in your browser, detects music-like sound, and lowers the tab volume. If speech is detected, it keeps the volume higher so voices remain easier to hear.

Useful for videos, streams, tutorials, podcasts with background music, and pages where music is louder than speech.

Features:
- Works per active tab
- Detects music-like audio locally
- Lowers volume when music is detected
- Keeps speech more audible
- Adjustable sensitivity
- Adjustable volume levels for speech and non-speech audio

Privacy:
NoMusic processes audio locally in your browser. Audio is not uploaded, stored, or sent to any server.
