Zavi for Chrome

About

Zavi for Chrome lets you speak instead of typing in web apps, without installing the Zavi desktop app.

Click a text box, press Option+Z on Mac or Alt+Z on Windows/Linux, then speak naturally. Zavi records only while you are in control, sends the audio to the Zavi speech gateway, and inserts the finished text back into the field you selected.

Use it for writing emails, notes, chat replies, forms, CRM updates, support responses, and internal tools. Zavi works with normal inputs, textareas, and many rich text editors.

You can dictate polished text or switch to Translate mode and choose a target language before inserting the result.

Privacy-aware behavior:

Microphone access starts only after the user clicks Start or presses the shortcut

Chrome extensions work only inside Chrome web pages. For system-wide dictation in native Mac, Windows, or Linux apps, use the Zavi desktop app.
