To provide our core functionality, Steakhouse utilizes the following permissions for these specific purposes:
- activeTab: To read the URL and DOM context of the current page only when the user explicitly opens the Steakhouse widget to generate content.
- Host Permissions: To inject the helper widget on content publishing platforms (like LinkedIn, X, and Reddit) so users can access AI generation tools where they work.
- Identity: To provide a secure and seamless "Continue with Google" login for enterprise and organization users.
- Storage: To securely store your session tokens, organization ID, and UI preferences locally across browser sessions.
- Tabs: To open the onboarding flow and detailed settings dashboard in new browser windows.
- Remote Code: Steakhouse does not execute remote code. It communicates with a secure backend API to process data and return text-based generation results.
