Set any refresh interval from 5 seconds to 1 hour, or enter a completely custom value. The extension works silently in the background — no need to keep the popup open. Choose from built-in presets (5s, 30s, 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h) or type your own interval in seconds, minutes, or hours. Custom intervals are saved as one-tap chips so you can reuse them instantly.

When you start monitoring, a draggable floating timer widget appears directly on the page — so you can see the countdown while browsing without keeping the popup open. Three display styles to choose from:

• Ring — animated glowing SVG orbital ring with a travelling dot
• Bar — smooth horizontal progress bar
• Digital — large bold countdown numbers

The timer overlay survives page reloads. After every auto-refresh, it automatically reappears with the correct countdown for the next cycle. Drag it anywhere on the page to stay out of your way.

• Pause — suspend the countdown until you manually resume

• alarms — schedule reliable background refresh timers that work even when the popup is closed
• scripting — inject the floating countdown timer and read page content for change detection

1. Click the AT Tech Auto Refresh icon in your Chrome toolbar
2. Choose a refresh interval (or type a custom one)
3. Select your monitor type: Any Change or Keyword
4. Choose your on-interaction behavior: Ignore, Stop, Pause, or Restart
5. Click Start Monitoring — the popup closes and a floating countdown appears on the page
6. Get notified when the page changes, or just let it keep refreshing automatically

That's it. No sign-up, no configuration files, no fuss.
