SkinMerge Inventory Sync connects your signed-in Steam Community session to SkinMerge so the inventory page can calculate trade-up contracts from the exact CS2 skins you own.

The extension reads your Steam CS2 inventory in the browser, extracts eligible skin metadata such as asset ID, market name, float, paint seed, tradability, and trade-hold timing, then sends it securely to SkinMerge. SkinMerge uses that synced inventory to show inventory value, filters, trade-up eligibility, expected value, ROI, and output previews.

The extension only runs on SkinMerge pages and Steam Community inventory endpoints. Searches and filters on SkinMerge use your last synced inventory snapshot; repeated Steam inventory refreshes are cooldown-limited to reduce Steam rate-limit risk.
