WHAT IT DOES
One click to extract the current article or captioned video, generate a structured summary with key points, an interactive mind map, and one-click translation — all in a clean sidebar. A free AI service works out of the box; no account or API key required.
KEY FEATURES

Smart Content Extraction — Extracts the main article text from most web pages (Readability.js), plus specialized handling for GitHub READMEs and StackOverflow Q&A.
Captioned YouTube Summaries — For YouTube videos that have captions, reads the transcript and summarizes it. Videos without captions are not supported (the extension shows a "no captions detected" message).
AI-Powered Summaries — Generates a one-line summary, key points, and a Markdown mind map, using a free built-in AI service by default.
Interactive Mind Map — A zoomable, draggable SVG mind map (Markmap), with full-screen view and PNG export.
Free Translation — Translate the summary between Chinese and English in one click. No API key required.
Bilingual UI — Switch between Chinese and English interface.
Manual Text Input — Paste any text (transcripts, documents, notes) to generate a summary.
Export Anywhere — Export to Notion, Obsidian (YAML front matter), Logseq (outline format), or PDF.

HOW TO USE

Click the extension icon to open the sidebar.
Open a supported page and click "Generate Summary." No login or API key needed.
View the summary and mind map; click Translate to translate it; export if you like.
(Optional) Power users can add their own DeepSeek/OpenAI API key in Settings for unlimited use.

PRIVACY
To generate a summary or translation with the free built-in service, the text of the page (or video transcript) is sent to our backend, which calls an AI provider (DeepSeek) to produce the result. No account is required and we do not collect personal data. If you add your own API key in Settings, requests go directly from your browser to that provider, and the key is stored only in your browser's local storage.
SCOPE
A focused tool for web articles/pages and captioned YouTube videos. It does not summarize videos without captions, and does not support other video platforms.
