• "activeTab" permission only. The extension reads nothing in the background. It only reads the URL of your active tab AT THE MOMENT you click the toolbar icon — never before, never after.
• Only the root domain is sent to our API. Not the full URL, not query strings, not cookies, not page content, not headers identifying you.
• Recent-checks history lives in chrome.storage.local on your machine. Never transmitted to our servers. Never synced to your Google account.
