Turn written content into natural, conversational audio

Audio Overview helps you convert articles, documents, notes, web pages, and original ideas into polished spoken content.

You can create a two-speaker conversation from source material, synthesize your own script directly, and manage previous generations from the extension’s side panel.

Create from your content

Start with any of the following:

Paste written content
Upload a supported document
Enter a public webpage URL
Describe a topic or idea

The extension prepares a structured two-speaker script that you can review and edit before generating the final recording.

Supported uploads include common document, text, presentation, and subtitle formats. Files can be up to 50 MB.

Generate directly from your own script

For content that is already prepared, use Direct mode to:

Enter your own dialogue or narration
Assign one or two voices
Select a language
Generate the recording without creating a new script

This mode is suitable for narration, announcements, educational material, internal communication, and other scripted content.

Work from the current webpage

Use the browser context menu to send selected text to the extension.

You can also send the current page URL to the side panel, where the extension attempts to extract the main readable content before preparing the script.

Some webpages may restrict automated content access. In those cases, you can paste the relevant text manually.

Manage previous projects

Completed and in-progress projects are available in History. From there, you can:

Continue unfinished projects
Generate remaining sections
Merge completed sections
Download the final MP3
Create a title, summary, key takeaways, and chapter outline
Voices and languages

Choose from the available voice options and select the language that best matches your content. Longer projects can be processed in sections and combined after generation.

Privacy and account access

Content is sent to 1bit.ai only after you initiate a generation request.

Google OAuth is used for authentication. The extension does not receive or store your Google password.

Your projects are associated with your 1bit.ai account and are accessible only through your authenticated account.

Getting started

Install the extension, sign in, open the side panel, and provide the content you want to convert.
