1. Open an email you want to save, on any webmail or landing page
2. Click the floating Scan button (or pin the extension and click the icon)
3. Review the detected email in the popup — tweak the category if needed — and hit Save
4. The email lands in your Email Donut library within seconds

── SIGN IN ──

Sign in with Google or your Email Donut email and password. Your account is the same one you use at emaildonut.com. If you don't have an Email Donut account yet, sign up at emaildonut.com first — the extension assumes you have one.

── PERMISSIONS, PLAINLY ──

• "Storage" — remembers whether you're signed in and whether scan mode is on
• "Active tab" — reads the currently-open email when you click Scan, not in the background
• "Tabs" — sends the scan trigger to the tab you're viewing
• "Identity" — powers Google sign-in via Chrome's built-in auth flow
• Access to https:// and http:// pages — because saveable emails live everywhere: Gmail, Outlook, Mailchimp archives, brand landing pages, newsletter previews. The extension only reads page content when you click Scan — never in the background, never without your action.

── PRIVACY ──
