When you watch a Hindi or Tamil title, you usually
only get an English translation subtitle. Lipify is
different — it rewrites the original-language
subtitles into Roman letters (Hinglish / Tanglish), so
कैसे हो shows as "kaise ho". You read the real words as
they're spoken, and pick up the language naturally.

Turn on a second layer for an offline meaning
translation in your own language — Tamil, English,
Spanish, French, Japanese, and many more — so you get
the words and the meaning, side by side.

How it works
1. Play a Hindi or Tamil title and turn on its
original-language subtitles.
2. Lipify rewrites them into Roman script on screen.
3. (Optional) Pick your language and download the
small on-device model once — then a meaning line
appears under each subtitle, fully offline.

Privacy
Lipify does not collect, store, or transmit any
personal data. All processing — romanization and
translation — happens locally in your browser.

Note: Meaning translation needs a recent version of
Chrome with built-in AI. If unavailable, romanization
still works.
