About

NoReel gives you control over what you see on Instagram.

Choose from two modes:

🔇 No Reel
Hides the Reels icon from the sidebar so you're never one accidental
click away from an endless scroll of short videos.

🚫 No Reel & No Post
Goes further — hides the Reels icon, the Explore icon, and all posts
on your home feed. Open Instagram to check messages or search for
something specific, without the feed pulling you in.

Switch between modes instantly from the extension popup. No page
reload needed.

── How it works ──
NoReel injects a small CSS rule that hides the selected elements.
It does not modify, intercept, or read any Instagram content — it
simply tells your browser not to render certain parts of the page.

── Privacy ──
NoReel collects absolutely no data. No analytics, no tracking, no
network requests. Your selected mode is stored locally on your device
and never leaves it.

── Permissions ──
• storage — to remember which mode you selected
That's it. Nothing else.

Perfect for anyone trying to reduce screen time, stay focused, or
just use Instagram more intentionally.
