About
SmritiForge is a spaced repetition system built for developers preparing for
coding interviews. Stop re-solving problems you've already solved. Start
actually remembering them.
Note: SmritiForge replaces your new tab page with your daily review dashboard.
This can be disabled in Chrome extension settings.
── HOW IT WORKS ──
1. SAVE — After solving a problem on LeetCode or NeetCode, click the
SmritiForge button next to Submit. Add your key insight, approach, and
complexity notes while it's fresh.
2. RECALL — Each day, SmritiForge surfaces problems due for review. Before
revealing your notes, you write what you remember. Active recall, not passive
re-reading.
3. RETAIN — Rate how well you remembered. A research-backed scheduling
algorithm spaces reviews at the optimal moment — right before you'd forget —
so difficult problems come back sooner and solid ones less often. You spend
time where your memory actually needs it.
── FEATURES ──
• One-click save on LeetCode & NeetCode problem pages
• Active recall gate — write before you peek
• Scientifically optimised review scheduling
• Daily review session with card flip animation
• Key insight, approach, time & space complexity notes
• Streak tracking to build a daily habit
• Review statistics and heatmap
• Dark & light mode
• All data stored locally — nothing leaves your browser
• Export / import your full library as JSON
• Replaces new tab with your review dashboard
── WHO IS THIS FOR ──
Developers grinding LeetCode for FAANG interviews, competitive programmers
building long-term pattern recognition, and anyone who's solved Two Sum four
times and still blanked on it in an interview.
── PERMISSIONS & TRANSPARENCY ──
• Modifies new tab page — shows your daily review dashboard
• Only accesses leetcode.com and neetcode.io problem pages
• No data collection — everything stored locally on your device
• No accounts, no servers, no tracking
SmritiForge = Smriti (Sanskrit for memory) + Forge (to strengthen).
