About

claude2code adds a button to claude.ai that copies the full conversation to your clipboard and opens Claude Code desktop. Paste with Cmd+V (macOS) or Ctrl+V (Windows/Linux), pick your project folder, and keep going with all the context.

The floating button on claude.ai reads "Continuar en Claude Code" because that's exactly what you're about to do.

WHO IT'S FOR

For people who think and shape a project in Claude.ai and then want to execute it in Claude Code, where Claude has access to the project files. The usual path was copying message by message by hand, or asking for a brief that lost the nuance. This extension skips that step: it brings the raw, complete conversation across in one click.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Open a conversation on claude.ai.
2. Click the orange "Continuar en Claude Code" button at the bottom-right.
3. If your browser asks, allow Claude Code to open.
4. In Claude Code: paste with Cmd+V (macOS) or Ctrl+V (Windows/Linux), choose your project folder, and press Enter.

MODEL

This is the first public release. The extension is 100% free while I evaluate whether a paid model makes sense. If you use it and want to support development, you can contribute voluntarily at ko-fi.com/julianosoriom.

WHAT LANDS ON YOUR CLIPBOARD

- Every message from you and Claude, full text, no truncation.
- A text marker where attachments were: [attachment: name.png].
- Optional (toggle in the popup): the long tool outputs Claude used in the conversation — transcripts, web searches, etc.

PRIVACY

- Everything runs in your browser. Nothing sent to our servers or any third party.
- The extension uses your own claude.ai session to read the conversation.
- No analytics, no telemetry, no accounts.
- The only saved data is one local preference (whether to include tool outputs).

REQUIREMENTS

- Claude Code desktop installed (registers the claude:// scheme on your system).
- Signed in to claude.ai.

NOTE

Community-made extension, not affiliated with Anthropic. Uses the same internal API that the claude.ai web app uses to display conversations. If Anthropic changes it, a patch will be published.
