About

Heimdall Focus is a local website blocker for Chrome.

Add a site from the toolbar popup, choose when blocking should apply, and redirect blocked visits to a built-in block page. You can also hide specific YouTube surfaces such as Shorts, comments, recommendations, thumbnails, the top bar, end cards, and autoplay.

What Heimdall Focus does:
- adds website targets from the popup or settings page
- supports permanent blocks, weekly schedules, and daily usage limits
- includes bundled categories for social, video, news, gaming, and shopping sites
- treats example.com and www.example.com as the same host while keeping other subdomains separate
- hides selected YouTube features without blocking all of YouTube
- shows local attempt counts on the block page

What Heimdall Focus does not do:
- it does not use a remote server
- it does not require an account
- it does not include analytics or advertising
- it does not send browsing activity to a backend
