About

KeenSense tracks product prices across the web and alerts you the moment they drop.

Pick a product page, click the price, and KeenSense saves it. It checks the page in the background on a schedule and sends a desktop notification when the price drops or the item is back in stock. A full dashboard shows price history, tracked products, lists, and per-store breakdowns.

KEY FEATURES
• Track prices on virtually any website — choose the product and the price element
• Automatic scheduled background checks
• Desktop notifications for price drops and restocks
• Price history charts and a detailed dashboard
• Organize tracked items into lists and by store
• Works on Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari

PRIVACY — LOCAL-FIRST BY DESIGN
All data — tracked products, settings, and price history — stays on your device in local browser storage. There is no KeenSense server, no account, no telemetry, and no analytics.

Price extraction runs entirely in your browser using structured page data (JSON-LD, Open Graph, Microdata) and your selectors. An optional AI fallback can handle complex pages. It is off by default and works only if you add your own OpenAI API key. When enabled, small HTML fragments from the product page are sent to OpenAI (api.openai.com) using your key — and only then.

KeenSense reads only the public product pages you choose to track. It requests broad site access at runtime, only when you act — never at install time.
