About
A calm weather widget that reads the forecast for you, and gets you back outside. Most weather apps go one of two wrong ways: they bury you in bells and whistles, or they strip themselves so bare the data you need is gone. Shinkai Sky takes a third path. It is minimal and quietly beautiful on the surface, genuinely data rich underneath, and never overwhelming. It even reads the weather for you, so staying simple never means missing what matters. And it has one real job: to tell you when you can step outside, and what it will feel like when you do. MINIMAL, NEVER THIN A quiet glance up front: one temperature on the toolbar, today's curve, sunrise and sunset, the changes worth knowing. Deep hourly trends one click down: temperature, wind and gusts, sun and clouds, humidity, and UV, from 24 hours ago to 24 hours ahead, with now always centered. The depth is folded away until you reach for it, so you never face a wall of numbers. IT READS THE WEATHER FOR YOU A language model pulls the one thing that matters into a plain sentence: a wind shift, a cold front, when the rain stops, what to wear. The widget stays calm, but the important change or warning still finds you the moment you glance. MADE TO GET YOU OUTSIDE Pick any city, paste coordinates, or use your location; switch °F or °C. Quiet seasonal touches (snow when it snows, petals in spring, leaves in autumn) make the app feel like the season around you. It is built to be glanced at and closed, so you spend less time on a screen and more time in the open air. What it skips: accounts and logins, endless menus, dashboards by numbers, and the noise that makes you read the weather instead of stepping into it. Private by design: the extension only talks to weather.tinytoolsstack.com to fetch the forecast. Your unit and chosen cities are stored in your browser. Your location is used only when you tap "use my location," and only to look up the weather there. Nothing is sold, shared, or used to track you. Feedback and questions: [email protected]
