Brain Vault Capture is the browser companion for obsidian-wiki, a skill-based framework for growing an Obsidian-powered digital brain with your AI agent. Use it to capture useful web pages, references, snippets, and selected text directly into your vault’s _raw folder as Markdown files. Each capture includes the source URL, page title, timestamp, optional blurb, selected text, and readable page content. Once captures are in _raw, your agent can run /wiki-ingest promote my raw pages to distill them into connected wiki pages, update your knowledge graph, and link them with the rest of your digital brain. The extension is designed for local-first knowledge work. Captures are written to a folder you choose on your machine and are not sent to any server.
