Shorty puts you back in control of short-form video. Block Shorts and Reels entirely, watch them without the addictive mechanics, or set a daily time budget — across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

WHAT SHORTY DOES

• Hide Shorts everywhere — remove YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and TikTok videos from feeds, search, and navigation
• Or keep them, minus the hooks — stop autoplay and endless looping, and hide like/share buttons, captions, usernames, and audio tracks so you watch the video, not the slot machine
• Daily time budget — set a limit and Shorty warns you at 75%, 90%, and 100% of it, with a gentle banner or a full-page block. Snooze it when you genuinely need five more minutes.
• Watch-time tracking — see how many short videos you watch and for how long
• Per-platform rules — configure YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook independently

Shorty runs entirely in your browser. Watch statistics are stored on your device and settings sync only through your browser's own sync — no account, no external servers, no tracking, no ads.

WHY

Short-form feeds are engineered to keep you scrolling: autoplay, infinite swipe, variable rewards. Shorty removes those mechanics so that you decide when to stop.
