To use the extension, you'll enter the base url for your gitlab instance and an API key with api_read permissions. You API key is only ever stored in your browser. It is never sent to any third party services. Once you've entered your configuration details, simply add the projects you want to track and then choose what tiles you want for each project on your dashboard.
