Tab Crushr is designed to be conservative. It skips protected tabs like pinned tabs, active tabs, audible tabs, Chrome internal pages, extension pages, file URLs, and allowlisted domains.

Stale and superseded detection starts after installation and needs 72 hours of tracking data before those rules become useful. Tab Crushr does not try to reconstruct tab history from before it was installed.

Memory savings are estimates. Chrome does not expose exact per-tab memory usage to extensions, so Tab Crushr uses simple approximate savings to help you understand cleanup impact.
