About

SSO Offloading for Isolated Web Apps & Chrome Apps

The SSO Offloading Handler delegates authentication from ControlledFrame and WebView to a standard browser tab. This solution overcomes the limitations of sandboxed environments, which prevent access to browser cookies. With SSO offloading, users of an app can now log in once in their browser and remain recognized within isolated environments (like ControlledFrame and WebView), effectively eliminating repetitive login prompts during Identity Provider (IdP) authorization.

SSO Offloading Handler only works with apps that enable SSO Offloading with the help of sso-offloading-connector NPM package.

The extension validates senders against a predefined list of trusted apps, ensuring it only communicates with authorized applications.
