About
🔊 LiquidBoost — Go Beyond Your Volume Limit Boost the volume of any tab up to 300% using the Web Audio API. Whether you're watching a quiet video, listening to music on Spotify, or on a noisy call — LiquidBoost makes everything louder without touching your system volume. ✨ KEY FEATURES 🔊 Up to 300% volume boost — go far beyond what your speakers or system volume allows 🌐 Works on all sites — Spotify, YouTube, Twitter/X, Netflix, Twitch, Amazon Music, Soundcloud, and any other site with audio or video ⚡ Global settings — change the boost once and it applies to every open tab instantly 💾 Persistent — your setting is remembered across browser restarts 🎛️ Quick presets — one-tap buttons for ½x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, and 3x 🔋 Power toggle — pause and resume the boost instantly without losing your setting 📊 Live readout — see your exact gain multiplier and dB boost in real time 🔒 Zero data collection — no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no tracking 🛠️ HOW IT WORKS LiquidBoost uses the browser's built-in Web Audio API to intercept audio and video elements and route them through a GainNode — a standard audio primitive that amplifies the signal in real time. Most volume boosters fail on Spotify, YouTube, and Twitter because of CORS (cross-origin) restrictions on media elements. LiquidBoost solves this by injecting directly into the page's main JavaScript context, patching HTMLMediaElement.prototype.play before any media loads — so cross-origin audio is handled correctly every time. 🔒 YOUR PRIVACY LiquidBoost collects absolutely nothing. There are no servers, no analytics, no accounts, and no external requests. The only data stored is your gain level (e.g. "200%") saved locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. It never leaves your browser. Full privacy policy: https://extensions.mathonymics.in/LiquidBoost/privacy-policy.html 👤 ABOUT Made by Mathonymics More extensions: https://extensions.mathonymics.in
