BOTH MOBILE AND DESKTOP:
Every analysis runs for both mobile and desktop simultaneously so

   storage (chrome.storage.local) and never leaves your device.

• activeTab — to read the current page's content for SEO analysis
• storage — to save your audit history locally on your device
• scripting — to extract on-page data for the SEO audit

We do not use analytics, trackers, or third-party data services 
of any kind inside the extension.

Q: How accurate are the scores?
A: The speed scores come directly from Google's PageSpeed Insights 
   API — the same data source used by Google Search Console and 
   web.dev. They are highly accurate and reflect real-world 
   performance conditions.

Q: Can I audit competitor websites?
A: Yes. Navigate to any public URL and click the PagePulse Pro icon 
   to audit it. This is a great way to benchmark your site against 
   competitors and identify gaps.

Q: How often should I run audits?
A: Best practice is to run an audit before and after any significant 
   change to your site — new content, design updates, plugin 
   installations, or image uploads. For actively maintained sites, 
   a weekly or monthly check is recommended.

Q: Does it slow down my browser?
A: No. PagePulse Pro only runs when you click the extension icon. 
   It has no background processes that run while you browse normally.

A: Google's PageSpeed Insights simulates different network and device

   since Google uses mobile-first indexing.
