Changelog

  • Apr 17, 2026
    description
Glossary turns Netflix into a Spanish learning tool with adaptive subtitles.

Instead of showing the same subtitle treatment for every sentence, Glossary adjusts what you see based on your current level and word knowledge.

    How it works:

    White words are new words.
Yellow words are words where you know the translation.
    Green words are known words.
    Display behavior:

If a sentence contains white words, Glossary shows Spanish and English together.
If a sentence contains yellow words but no white words, Glossary shows Spanish only.
If a sentence contains only green words, Glossary hides the subtitle line.
    Features:

    Passwordless email login
Required onboarding with initial level selection
Adaptive subtitle display for Spanish learning
Quick level updates from the extension popup
Popup-based setup flow designed for Netflix use
