About
Tallshot captures clean, high-resolution screenshots of any web page — the entire scrolling page, a specific scrollable element, or a wide table — then lets you crop, annotate, and redact them in a built-in editor before exporting. Everything runs locally; nothing ever leaves your device. KEY FEATURES • One-click full-page capture — Click the Tallshot icon and it scrolls the whole page and stitches it into a single sharp image, automatically handling sticky headers and fixed footers so they don't repeat or block content. A badge on the icon shows when a capture is in progress. • Element & table capture — Right-click the page and choose "Capture element" to grab a specific panel, card, chat feed, or dashboard widget. Tallshot even captures elements that scroll both horizontally and vertically (like wide data tables), stitching them in 2D. • Built-in editor — Crop, draw arrows and rectangles, add text, and highlight what matters. Zoom and fit-to-page make precise edits easy on very tall captures, with full undo/redo. • Blur to redact — Hide usernames, emails, or any sensitive data before you share. • Export your way — Save as PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF, or copy straight to the clipboard to paste into chat, docs, or email. • Handles very tall pages — Smart scaling fits pages up to ~30,000 px without blank images or memory crashes. • 100% private — All capture and editing happen offline. No accounts, no trackers, no data collection. HOW TO USE 1. Open the page you want to capture. 2. Click the Tallshot icon to capture the full page instantly — or right-click the page and choose "Capture element" to pick a specific area. 3. The capture opens in a new editor tab. 4. Crop, annotate, or blur as needed. 5. Click Export (PNG / JPEG / WebP / PDF), or Copy to clipboard. Note: Chrome blocks extensions from capturing internal pages (chrome:// and the Chrome Web Store); Tallshot flags these rather than failing silently.
