ContentForge scores your content before you hit send.

Ever publish a post and just hope it performs? ContentForge removes the guesswork. It analyzes your writing against platform-specific best practices and gives you a clear 0-100 score, a letter grade, and actionable suggestions — all in under 50 milliseconds.

How it works:

A floating score badge appears while you compose on supported social platforms. The badge updates in real time as you type, color-coded from red (needs work) to green (ready to post). No tab-switching, no copy-pasting into a separate tool. Your score is right there, next to the compose box.

Popup scoring for any platform:

Click the extension icon to score content even on sites without badge injection. Select your target platform from the dropdown, paste your draft, and get an instant breakdown. Each platform has its own scoring ruleset tuned to that platform's character limits, formatting conventions, and engagement patterns. The extension supports 12 platforms in total.

A/B Compare:

Stuck between two drafts? Paste both into the Compare tab and see a head-to-head breakdown. ContentForge picks the winner and shows you exactly why one draft outscores the other.

AI Rewrite:

When your score is low, choose a tone — Engaging, Professional, Casual, or Bold — and let AI generate an optimized rewrite. One click inserts the rewrite directly into the compose box. AI is strictly opt-in; it never runs unless you ask for it.

Deterministic scoring:

This is not an LLM scoring your content. ContentForge uses a heuristic engine — pure rules mapped to best practices. The same input produces the same score every time. No variance, no hallucinations. Every deduction is itemized so you can see exactly what to fix.

Works offline:

If the API is cold or your connection drops, ContentForge falls back to local heuristics built into the extension. You still get a score, a grade, and suggestions — no internet required.

Privacy-first, no account needed:

No signup, no login, no API key required. No data is stored on our servers. No tracking or analytics. Open source under AGPL-3.0.
