Simply define the key claim elements you're interested in (e.g., "wireless communication module," "power management system"), and the extension will:

## How It Works (Quick Start)

1. Set up API key      → Paste your Google Gemini API key once
2. Define elements     → Add the technical elements you want to find
3. Open any patent     → Navigate to patents.google.com
4. Click Analyze       → Watch the extension scan the entire patent
5. Review results      → See highlighted matches with confidence scores

## Features

- Popup settings UI for:
  - Gemini API key (stored locally via `chrome.storage.local`).
  - Selectable Gemini model (default `gemini-2.0-flash`).
  - Add / edit / delete key elements (name, definition, notes, color).
  - Test API key button.
- Floating **Analyze Patent** button injected on `https://patents.google.com/*`.
- Patent text extraction from Title, Abstract, Claims, Background, Summary,
  and Detailed Description. Long patents are auto-chunked.
- Gemini analysis: returns per-element status (Explicit / Implicit / Partial /
  Not found), confidence, reasoning, and supporting snippets — strictly JSON.
- Result panel with overall summary, per-element cards with status badges,
  color legend, and unmatched-snippet log.
- In-page highlighting (exact match → fuzzy / sentence-level fallback) with
  per-element colors and tooltips.
- Re-run Analysis and Clear Highlights buttons.
