About
Inspeck is a fast, visual measurement and inspection layer for any web page. Hover to measure, click to inspect — without opening DevTools or switching back to your design file. Built for product designers, front-end engineers, design-system teams, and QA/UX reviewers who care about pixel-accurate UI. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Measure on hover — see the exact width and height of any element the instant your cursor lands on it. • Compare spacing — click one element, hover another, and Inspeck draws the distance between them with live pixel readouts. • Select an area — drag to measure any region of the screen. • Inspect everything — a clean panel shows the real computed values: size and position, the box model (padding and margin, editable per side), typography (font, size, weight, line-height, letter-spacing, color), and appearance (background, corner radius, border, shadow, opacity). • Edit live — tweak CSS, text, padding, radius and more right on the page to preview changes before you touch code. Nudge any value with the arrow keys. • Check contrast — every text element shows its contrast ratio, so you catch accessibility issues on the spot. • Walk the DOM — jump to a parent or child element without re-clicking. • Pin notes — drop text annotations anywhere for design QA and feedback. • Capture screenshots — save the page with your measurements included. • Guides & 8-pt grid — drop alignment guides and toggle a grid overlay. • Works inside iframes — measure and inspect elements in embedded frames too. WORKS ANYWHERE Use it on production sites, staging environments, web apps behind logins, and localhost. If your browser can open it, you can measure it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Inspeck runs entirely in your browser. Measurements, notes, and screenshots never leave your machine. There is no account, no sign-in, and no tracking — the extension makes no network requests and collects no data. FAST TO USE Press Alt+M (or click the toolbar icon) to start. Hover to measure, click to inspect, and use keyboard shortcuts to switch modes, pin notes, and capture screenshots. Stop guessing and start measuring. Make every pixel accountable.
