About

Manifest V3 Version Update !!!
At the last moment, Web Data Monitor finally supports Chrome Manifest V3
The new version keeps the extension's core capabilities: configuring network requests, using the browser's existing login state, custom JavaScript data processing logic, automatic data change monitoring, alert notifications, and task configuration import/export.
This update also adds the following capabilities:
More flexible scheduling, with support for fixed intervals and specified times on daily, weekly, or monthly schedules
More alert modes: No alert, Toast, Notification, Notification + sound
Task-level custom alert sounds, with support for setting a global default sound as well (right-click Alert mode to open)
Quick enable/disable controls in the Popup task list
Improved the original rough popup window style, including the log viewer popup (right-click a task item to open)
However, because of Manifest V3 API security changes, after a series of attempts and workarounds, the new version still has some functional adjustments and limitations:
Automatic check intervals shorter than 30 seconds will be adjusted to the shortest interval allowed by the Chrome API: 30 seconds
Request headers controlled by the browser, such as Cookie, Origin, User-Agent, and Sec-*, can no longer be manually set through task configuration
JSONP, dataType: "script", and some advanced jQuery.ajax options are no longer within the supported scope of the new version
Custom processing scripts can still be used. Common string processing, JSON processing, DOM queries, and simple AJAX requests can continue to work; however, complex jQuery Deferred behavior or low-level XHR customization may differ from the old version

This is a little geeky web data monitoring software,
If you know the Javascript programming language and the jQuery library,
Then you can monitor any web page or API data changes through this extension,
It can implement functions such as stock price reminders, merchandise discount reminders, dramas or comics update reminders, RSS update reminders, live broadcast notifications, new email reminders, website daily check-in, and more.
